How to Use Your Champagne Saber

Napoleon made history, the story goes, when he first immortalized his victory in battle by dramatically striking off the head of a bottle of Champagne with his cavalry saber. Then, swipe hard and fast toward the lip. If done right, your saber will take off the full lip and cork together, ensuring a fresh, unadulterated pour.
